My name is Amber Hoyle-Harris and I own Breathtaking Birth Doulas LLC. I absolutely love every aspect of being a doula. I serve all of Houston and many of it’s surrounding areas as a labor doula, postpartum doula, and a Postpartum Placenta Specialist.
After birthing my second baby at home, it was my own doula who inspired me to begin pursuing birth work. I am called to serve people during one of the most life changing times in their lives – pregnancy and parenthood. It is my belief that everyone should have the option of having a doula with them during labor. My goal is to use my skills and resources so all of my clients feel empowered by their birth. I offer respect and support to my clients no matter what kind of birth they choose.
I chose Prodoula as my certifying organization because of their wonderful support for the working doula. Prodoula equipped me to confidently attend mothers through their pregnancy and labor. I also appreciate that ProDoula’s standardized training is approved by The American Nurse Association.

In addition to doula work, I am a wife to my amazingly handsome husband, Todd. I have four wonderful children with him. Sometimes having a big family is super crazy. My home is bustling with friends and family coming and going, eating and helping out. However it also smells, looks, and feels like love lives here.
