Transitioning to your new normal.

As you are healing and getting to know your new addition, life keeps happening.  Household chores pile up.  Significant others go back to work.  Older children need tending.  Let us help you ease back into it.

Doulas help shoulder the load until you are ready to take it all on.  We will join you as you create new systems that will allow you to be the mom you want to be.  For example, wearing your baby in a sling or carrier is a great way to get things done.  Let us help you with that!

Doulas are an extra set of eyes and hands.  While you and your baby are napping, we engage your other children with learning games.  Also, if your neighborhood park is near by, we can walk them up there to burn off some energy.  Additionally, doulas makes snacks for the little ones as well as for you! From light laundry and grocery shopping, to assisting with meal planning, you will be able to rest and recuperate.  You can focus on bonding with your baby knowing your doula is there.

The postpartum period is a challenging and emotional time.  As soon as your baby is born you are pushed right into being a mother.  There is no time to breath in between birth and postpartum.  With your doula by your side, you are able to nail this!  You will begin conquering, from the beginning, every new challenge with support and confidence.  Your doula will work towards you feeling empowered and capable because, well, you are.
